My name is Chelsey, and like many people reading this, life has knocked me down more than once. I’ve been through seasons where everything felt heavy—hard relationships, pressure, responsibility, and moments where it felt like the weight of everything was sitting on my shoulders. At the same time, I was still trying to show up for my kids, my work, and the people depending on me. From the outside, people often think you’re strong, but sometimes strength simply means you keep going because you feel like you have no other choice.
Over time I started noticing something about the people around me. The ones carrying the most responsibility were often carrying it quietly. Blue-collar workers, business owners, and first responders live in a world where people depend on them every day. You are the ones who fix things when they break, step in when something goes wrong, and make decisions that affect other people’s lives. Many of you aren’t just working a job—you’re carrying the weight of a business, employees, families, customers, and entire communities. That kind of responsibility is heavy, and leadership can be a lonely place.
Another thing people don’t talk about enough is that when you carry that kind of responsibility, you don’t always get much credit for it. Sometimes there’s no applause. No recognition. Many times people only notice when something goes wrong, not all the quiet things you did to keep everything running. Over time that lack of appreciation can feel isolating, even when you’re surrounded by people.
But the truth is, you keep going anyway. Not because it’s easy, and not because it’s always rewarding, but because you remember why you started. You remember the people you’re doing it for—your family, your team, and the people who rely on you. That deeper purpose is what helps you get up every morning and push forward one more day.
That’s why Still Breathing exists. It’s not just a blog or a podcast. It’s meant to be a place where you can feel a little less alone and a little more understood. A place for honest conversations about resilience, business, mental health, and the quiet pressure that comes with being the one others rely on.
Part of my mission is also to share what I’ve learned along the way. I’ve spent years learning lessons the hard way—through mistakes, failures, growth, and a lot of trial and error. What I want to do here is pass those lessons on so you don’t have to spend years figuring everything out alone. If I can share the mindset shifts, tools, and shortcuts that helped me move forward faster, then maybe your path can be a little lighter and a little clearer.
My goal is to walk this journey with you. To help you stay connected to your why, keep moving forward when things get heavy, and remind you that growth and healing don’t have to take forever. Sometimes all it takes is hearing the right idea at the right time from someone who understands what you’re carrying.
Everyone deserves a soft place to land once in a while. A place where you can pause, breathe, and remember you’re human too. Because sometimes strength doesn’t mean having all the answers or pretending everything is fine. Sometimes strength simply means you made it through another day.
If you’re here reading this, then you probably understand that feeling. You’ve taken some hits, carried some weight, and kept going anyway. And that matters more than most people realize.
Because sometimes the greatest accomplishment isn’t success or recognition. Sometimes the greatest accomplishment is much simpler than that.
You’re still here.
You’re still standing.
And most importantly…
you’re still breathing.
If today feels heavy, I want to give you something small that helped me.
I created a simple 5-Minute Reset for the days when your mind is full, the pressure feels constant, and you just need a moment to step back and breathe.
It’s not complicated.
It’s not another thing to add to your to-do list.
It’s just a short guided reset designed to help you clear your head, reconnect with your purpose, and release some of the weight you’ve been carrying.
If you need that moment right now, you can start here:

Professional Problem Solver
Hi, I’m Chelsey. I created Still Breathing for the ones who carry the weight: entrepreneurs, blue-collar workers, first responders, and anyone others depend on every day. I know what it’s like to push forward through pressure, responsibility, and seasons where quitting doesn’t feel like an option. Through this platform, I share the lessons I’ve learned in business, resilience, and mindset so you don’t have to spend years figuring things out alone. My goal is simple: to help lighten the load, keep you connected to your why, and remind you that even when things get heavy, you’re not alone... you’re still breathing.
